Lah's first advancement was DA17, a gentler combination that could supplant steel in the lodge style tents normal at that point. DA17 engaged Japanese tent brands, and later to REI, which involved it in a 1994 model called the Olympus. His subsequent amalgam, TH72M, permitted exploring canvas tent with stove to arrive at new weight-saving benchmarks. "Prior to M, the most slender [pole walls] I could make were 1.62 millimeters, yet with M we went to 1.6, then, at that point, 1.55, and presently we're at 1.4 millimeters," Lah clarifies.
